The Biden administration has to be one of the oddest things I have ever witnessed in my life. Ok, not the oddest thing, but it is definitely in the top 10 of strange and bizarre.
It literally is like we are watching ‘The Truman Show” merged with “Weekend at Bernie’s” every day with the constant propping up the media does for good ole’ Joe.
However, one of the strangest things we have witnessed of the Biden show is the weird set he does for his speeches or video chats.
It is an actual full set, that is reportedly on the White House grounds, just across the way from the actual White House.
Of course, the fact-checkers on social media love to point out that it isn’t a “fake white house,” just a set of the white house that isn’t the real one.
Makes sense to me, right?
Though what is strange about the set is the odd backgrounds they use while Biden is playing “president” on television.
Biden’s handlers change out the “digital” scenery outside of the window to go with the theme of whatever he is talking about that day. Recently, while Joe muttered about the supply chain, the fake window had a digital scene of shipping containers.
The next time Biden spoke, they replaced the shipping containers for a wintery wonderland.
That is weird.
Tim Murtaugh, President Trump’s former communications guy, agrees that it’s odd, and he sent a tweet out about it.
He included two photos. One of the “shipping container” windows, and one of the “snowy” windows.
Here’s what Tim said: “Has there been an explanation for why they built a fake White House set for Biden across the street from the real White House? The other day there were shipping containers outside the window. Today it’s a winter wonderland. Just bizarre and phony.”

Tim actually got a response as to “why” Team Biden uses this “set” and it came from Trump’s loyal aide Stephen Miller.
Here’s what Stephen said:
The reason Biden uses this bizarre virtual set for televised meetings—and not an actual room like East Room, Cabinet, Oval, Roosevelt, Sit Room, etc.—is because it allows him to read a script directly from a face-on monitor (& w/out teleprompter glass that can be seen on camera).
That sounds legit, but it’s this comment from a Trump supporter that had me laughing.
I thought it was brilliant.
Here’s what he said: “My guess is that they don’t want him bothering Obama while he’s working.”
Sounds absolutely plausible to me!
After all, Obama needs complete silence while he finishes destroying the country for the third time.
He doesn’t need Biden shuffling in asking for ice cream while he does his dirty work.
Makes perfect sense to me.
