Israel Is Now Being Attacked by Hezbollah

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) It was reported that the armed drones of Hezbollah had invaded Israel from the north in Lebanon, creating a multi-front war for the Jewish state.

Numerous alerts have been triggered in the northern regions of Israel, on-ground reports indicated.

The Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] haven’t yet confirmed the number of invaders or the extent of the invasion itself, Trending Politics reported.

It was also discovered through the emerging reports that, in response to this escalation, the American government announced the immediate evacuation of its embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, but the embassy has rejected those claims.

The U.S. State Department urged all American citizens in Lebanon to remain cautious but indicated that the embassy is not being evacuated, as it was indicated in a statement that was released moments after the embassy’s claims.

Due to the presence of Hezbollah in Lebanon, Israel’s northern front historically has been a point of contention. Trending Politics reported that the current invasion will mark a significant shift in the Israel-Hamas war in the Middle East.

In the early 1980s, during the Israeli occupation of southern Lebanon, Hezbollah emerged with the backing of Iran as a proxy to destroy Israel. As a result, Hezbollah was able to develop both a political arm and a military wing over the years.

Politically, Hezbollah represents a significant portion of the Lebanese Shiite community and holds seats in the Lebanese parliament. In addition to that, the organization has a well-trained and equipped military force, which has been involved in various conflicts both within and outside Lebanon.

Among the military conflicts with Israel were the Lebanese Civil War, the South Lebanon conflict [1985–2000] and the 2006 Lebanon War. The group also launched rocket attacks into Israel, conducted raids and engaged in tunneling activities along the Israeli-Lebanese border.

Hezbollah or its military wing has been designated as a terrorist organization by the United States, Canada, the European Union, the Arab League and several other countries.
