Elon Musk Says He Would Rather Go To Jail Than Fire Workers Who Refused Vax

(Headline USA) Tech billionaire Elon Musk said this week that he would rather “go to prison” than fire his employees for refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Twitter and Tesla owner shared a video this week exposing the inefficacy of COVID-19 vaccination, rhetorically asking whether anyone was aware of the information.

In a follow-up tweet, Musk clarified that he isn’t concerned about whether people choose to get the jab for themselves, but that he opposes “the outrageous demand that people *must* take the vaccine and multiple boosters to do anything at all.”

“That was messed up,” he said in what seemed to be a reference to the many Democratic cities and employers that mandated vaccination during the pandemic.

Musk also called out President Joe Biden for attempting to impose a vaccine mandate on all public and private employees.

“Until the Supreme Court invalidated Biden’s exec order, SpaceX and many other companies would have been forced to fire anyone who refused to get vaccinated,” Musk said. “We would not have done so. I would rather go to prison than fire good people who didn’t want to be jabbed.”

Musk has previously said that he received a Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine shot and two mRNA shots.

“I had major side effects from my second booster shot,” Musk posted earlier this year. “Felt like I was dying for several days. Hopefully, no permanent damage, but I dunno.”

He added this week that he “believes” in vaccines but does not want debate over their use to be squashed.

“It’s not like I don’t believe in vaccines—I do,” he wrote.

“However, the cure cannot be potentially worse than the disease,” he added. “And public debate over efficacy should not be shut down. There is also great potential for curing many diseases using synthetic mRNA, so let’s not throw the baby out with the bath water.”
